Cook County Sheriff's Police Department Missing Persons Project

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office has dedicated a special team to investigate the cases of missing persons that have gone unresolved for an extended period of time, with an initial focus on missing women. These cases are derived from the The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (www.namus.gov) and include persons who have been missing in Illinois for three or more years.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) — Missing Persons Investigations Team seeks the public’s help in bringing resolution to these cases for the friends and families of these persons. Please submit any information you may have regarding these cases by calling 773-674-9490 or e-mailing [email protected]
