The Cook County Sheriff’s Electronic Monitoring Program (EM) is a pre-trial monitoring program created to ease overcrowding in the Cook County Department of Corrections.

The Office of Professional Review
The Office of Professional Review (OPR) ensures the accountability of Sheriff’s Office employees for conduct occurring both on and off-duty. OPR Investigators conduct thorough, fair, and timely criminal and administrative investigations when well-founded complaints of employee misconduct are received.
