The missing child, Pamela Gilmore, was reportedly last seen sometime between 3/06/1979 and 03/09/1979. The child was at her residence in the 2200 block of North Campbell in Chicago, Illinois. The child allegedly wandered away from her home after being left unattended. The child was not reported missing to the Chicago Police Department until 3/10/1979.
