Sheriff’s Assistance for Evictions (SAFE)

Please note that an eviction is an order from the court, so the SAFE team cannot stop an eviction, nor choose not to enforce it. Additionally, our program does not offer funding for rental assistance, utility bills, security deposits, or any related direct monetary funds. We do not have any apartment/condos/homes to offer, nor do we refer to any landlords specifically. Our team does not provide any legal advice, though we can link you to appropriate resources and services as needed.

What we can do is listen and, once we better understand your situation, we can work together to find options to support relocation. We can talk you through the process and provide you the information you need to best prepare for your next steps.  Our SAFE team is here and ready to help!
