Thank you for using the Cook County Sheriff’s online crime tip site. This site offers citizens the ability to directly provide the Cook County Sheriff’s Office with information about general criminal activity, wanted individuals or crimes that are already being investigated. When you submit a tip through this site, you have the option of remaining anonymous or providing your contact information so that investigators can follow up with you directly with any additional questions. Please be as specific as possible in order to give investigators the best opportunity to follow up on your tip.

Your tip will be reviewed by the Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Center and investigated upon assignment to the appropriate investigating unit, or local law enforcement agency. Information provided is NOT LIKELY to invoke an immediate police dispatch to the reported location.
