The Sheriff’s Office Book Bus is a mobile library initiative designed to bring thousands of books directly to communities across Cook County that often lack access to traditional library services.
With the Book Bus, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its mission to foster community connection, promote literacy, and provide innovative services that extend beyond traditional law enforcement in the many communities in which the Sheriff operates.
